A few years ago, I was a single mom juggling long hours in the financial industry just to keep up with bills. I barely saw my kids, and despite working hard, I was drowning in debt and stress. I felt stuck—like no matter how hard I pushed, life kept pushing back.
But my struggles weren’t just financial. Emotionally, physically, and mentally, I was breaking.
The Hardest Loss & My Father’s Words
Losing my dad was the first time I truly experienced grief. He was my rock—the person who always reminded me, “No one is better than you” and “You can have anything you want.” When he passed, I felt like a piece of me was gone. It was a pain I never knew existed, and navigating life without him was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.
The Weight of Motherhood & Loneliness
As a single mom in a new country, I carried a weight that no one else could see. I had no close family or real friends nearby—just my kids, who depended on me. I constantly questioned if I was doing enough, if I was making the right choices. When I saw the struggles my firstborn faced, battling addiction, I wondered if I had failed. Those thoughts haunted me.
And then there were the health challenges. Chronic allergies, sinus issues, and iron deficiency drained me daily. The exhaustion, the fogginess, the headaches—it made everything feel ten times harder. Some days, just getting out of bed felt like a battle. But I refused to let it define me.
The Moment That Lit a Fire in Me
I remember back when I was graduating high school, we had autograph books where friends and family wrote messages. One of my friends wrote something that stuck with me:
➡️ “Think of this world as a hill, look where millions stop, press on—there’s room at the top.”
I’ve carried those words with me ever since. I knew I couldn’t stop where millions did. I had to press on.
Finding My Purpose Through a Digital Business Franchise
One night, exhausted and overwhelmed, I asked myself, “Is this really the life I have to settle for?” I knew I needed a way out. That’s when I discovered a digital business franchise.
At first, I was skeptical. Could this really work for me? Would I have the time? Would I fail? But something inside me told me to try. I remembered my dad’s words. I remembered that message in my autograph book. I pressed on.
It wasn’t easy. I struggled. I doubted myself. But I kept pushing forward. I surrounded myself with people who uplifted me. I learned new skills. I showed up even when I didn’t feel like it. And little by little, I started seeing change—not just in my finances, but in my confidence, my mindset, and my future.
